After an inferiating 45 mins of trying to get my car to start I had to face the fact that I was going to need a tow. Virgil's showed up in less than 30 mins on a Sunday and the driver was actually able to start the car!! No tow and he wouldn't take any compensation for his time!! I will definitely keep them in mind next time I have car trouble!

Bob and the crew did an AWESOME job fixing the timing belt on my PT Cruiser. They moved fast and got it done sooner than expected, and it was cheaper than originally thought. Two weeks later the accelerator got stuck, and again they rescued me. This is a place you can TRUST.

Incredibly poor customer service. The owner in particular is incredibly aggressive and not customer service oriented at all. If you go to Virgil's you better hope that you don't have a problem because there will be no effort to resolve it. While Virgil's may have had a good reputation at one time the current owner/manager, Ron Nelson, is doing everything he can to destroy it. I would never visit this place and business and if I needed an emergency tow I would try and find any other service in the area.

Vehicle was towed to Virgil's Auto. When the driver arrived on scene I confirmed he was there on a AAA call and that he could use my AAA member card. Unfortunately I did not have my card on me at the time so the driver said I could call the next day and give them the information. When I called I was told that they were not there for AAA and that I was responsible for paying full cost for the tow. The rep wouldn't discuss options and suggested I call AAA and get reimbursed. I would not be upset about this except I was led to believe one thing and then told another during a very vulnerable time. If I had been made aware I would have dealt with it immediately but was never given the option.

Our 1985 VW Westfalia camper ground to a halt out on the freeway near Rochester on our first night of a 3 month roadtrip. Visons of it all ending before it had really begun passed through my brain. The tow truck dropped us at Virgil's. 7am I got up and wandered into the shop. They said they'd get us in right away (they have seven bays at least) and we could go have breakfast a block down. After a terrific breakfast and a couple annoying visits I made to the brothers to pester them with questions and to see the car, then about a half hour into a tea at a coffee shop, they called and said it was ready. We had burned up a wheel bearing, which after some internet research can run from 150$ to over a grand depending on what all is damaged. At 9am we rolled out of there, for only $188. They had found parts to fit, done the work, and we were on our way. I could not be any more pleased - terrific and honest and fast and reasonably priced service. Thank you gentlemen.

My bearing went bad 1 week after Virgil's fixed it. Brought the car back...fixed under warranty for free! I can't recommend Virgil's highly enough.
